Why does the MSN Messenger not work when firewall enabled?
Why does the MSN Messenger not work when firewall enabled?
Solution
When the firewall is enabled, some of ports are needed to configure in the packet filter. The communication ports of MSN Messenger are 443/TCP, 1863/TCP and 7001/UDP. In this case, the outbound and inbound of the above ports should set "allowed". Then all MSN Messenger features would be working.
